Projects and Updates!

Me: I started sewing on the screen to fix the holes rather than get a new one and I like it.
S: Sounds good.

This is why I love him! I have an idea and he is all for giving it a try! As he says, we can always paint over, replace, whatever if we don't like it afterwards. I am not done yet, but it is interesting...they look like red critters.

I also made a bathroom curtain that I adore! It is made out of 10 different pieces and looks completely different at night than during the day. It's cotton voile, silk, cotton lace, and a synthetic organza. Part of the cotton voile is printed on, the silk is a batik. I used all of these pieces I had that I had waiting for the perfect project. It is different and beautiful while functional - success!

AND, I promised S it would not go on FB, but I am SO excited to have a lawn. I'll share my action shot with all of you :) Yay for cutting the lawn! ~ OUR lawn!

Kitchen! Before & After ^_^

Yay! Before & after pictures of our kitchen are below!

The kitchen was pretty dark (and pretty dirty). We brightened it up and make the trim/ceiling a bright white with a punch of red!

The Snake Plant was moved to the kitchen...but who is lurking in our plant?

Yay for Backyards!

What a pretty sight! Ah...it is nice to have a backyard green space (even if it is tiny). Note the HUGE Ponytail Palm Tree...that thing is seriously out of control!
